About Epiphany Court

The Epiphany Court Inner City Tennis Clinic Junior Development Program officially began in 1981. However, since 1974, its director has been involved in developing youth for tennis scholarships and competitive play. Epiphany Court is an IRS certified 501 3 C Non Profit organization, has a certificate of recognition, and files an annual report with the State of Tennessee Secretary of State.

We are a Member organization of the USTA and NJTL

The Epiphany Court Junior Development Program is an ongoing year-round program that has a proven record of positively developing youth into mature college students, active tennis professionals and productive citizens. Participants in the program have achieved local, state, regional and national rankings. Most have earned college degrees through tennis scholarships.

About the Program Director

Arveal Turner is the Program Director and coach at Epiphany Court.

  1. He is recognized by the American Tennis Association for contributions made to Junior Development tennis.
  2. He invented “Tennis Stroker” a machine that isolates and strengthens muscles used in executing tennis strokes, that accelerates the learning process, develops concepts for strokes mechanics and allows the student to conceptualize and feel the skill for the different strokes in tennis.
  3. He is currently ranked in the top five Nationally by the American Tennis Association and formally ranked at #3 in the South by the USTA.
  4. He is a member of USTA and professional Tennis registry at the Professional Level
